LTW Circular II Metal Waterproof Connectors

The LTW Circular II Metal Waterproof Connectors are IP68 rated for data, signal, control and power installations in industrial automation applications.

Manufactured from nickel-plated zinc alloy, the connector housings offer higher temperature capability and greater strength compared to plastic connectors. They are salt-spray corrosion tested to either 48 or 500 h, depending on part number chosen, making them suitable for outdoor mechanical equipment that operates in harsh environments.

The connectors are available in both flanged panel-mount and cable-mount versions, with the latter in a range of external cable clamps suitable for cable diameters of 5.5 up to 12.5 mm. They are rated at 15 A, 250 V for two and three contacts; 10 A, 250 V for four, five and seven contacts; and 5 A, 250 V for 10, 12, and 14 contacts.

The contacts are manufactured from copper alloy, plated with nickel/silver and are carried in a nylon + glass filled insulator. They have a low contact resistance of ≤5 mΩ and have solder cup-type termination.
