The Morris long spade drill bits are available in lengths of 1100, 1600 and 2100 mm suitable for boring 16, 20 or 25 mm diameter holes into wood.
Typical applications are drilling down internal walls and through wall noggins for electrical, telephone and data cabling.
The drill bits are made from high-tensile and carbon tool steel components, and are CNC machined and concentrically-ground to ensure wobble-free operation. The one-piece drill eliminates the problem of extensions coming apart and therefore the loss of expensive pieces down wall cavities.
The drill bits are suitable for use in battery drills and power drills with a three-jaw Jacobs-style chuck.
