The ITT Veam Power lock series of connectors for high-power three-phase power applications such as lighting, generators and load banks.
Included in the range are Australian colour-coded 400 and 660 A individual power-lock connectors, power-lock boxes, older-style sequential mating boxes and the Snaplock series.
The connectors for field-installation power distribution are claimed to offer safety and reliability under severe operating conditions.
Power Lock is available in four standard formats which allow complete hook up through the standard daisy-chain principle. There are two source connectors, one for panel mounting and one for cable attachment. These are identified as ‘panel source’ and ‘line source’. The other two types are drain connectors. These connectors are identified as ‘panel drain’ and ‘line drain’.
The connectors serve a diverse industry base, including outdoor concerts, carnivals, sporting events, television outdoor broadcast, theatres, construction, electricity supply companies and heavy industrial environments.
