The low-voltage Innovec Controls LED downlight and dimming control systems are suitable for domestic housing and commercial use.
The high-intensity LEDDL LED lights feature three, 2 W LED, round recessed downlights and multi-channel dimming control and are specifically designed for domestic housing.
The 12 V downlights are claimed to have a 50,000 h life and up to 30% energy savings (eg, a 50 W halogen lamp consumes approximately 1.8 A at 12 V, compared with LED lighting at 0.4 A at 12 V).
The system is also claimed to provide a better colour of light when compared to compact fluorescents and it does not have the glare of a halogen lamp. The system gives full dimming control of the lights to the user, from full brightness to off, with the simple adjustment of a potentiometer at the light switch.
