The GX 120-ME gas fastening system is designed to deliver high productivity and convenience for electrical contractors when fastening cables, conduits, junction boxes and cable trunking on base materials such as concrete, masonry and steel.
The tool enables fittings to be fastened without having to drill into the base material, thereby generating no dust, vibration or disturbing noise. Fixings are claimed to take just 5 s to complete.
The tool uses electronic gas injection to maintain a consistent energy output; and there is no battery to charge or cables to haul. A built-in gas gauge shows how much gas is left and its slim design allows easy access close to walls and in corners.
A variety of Hilti fasteners and hangers are also available to provide a complete installation system.
