The Quick Connect chuck facility has been introduced to the BD146F3-XE 14.4 V cordless drill, enabling users to drill and drive without changing bits.
The drill provides 30 clutch settings to choose from, a 10 mm keyless chuck with auto spindle lock and 2-speed gearbox.
The Quick Connect bit change system holds the two bits (drill and driving) so the user can simply swap between the two by removing the head of the chuck, saving time and making light work of drilling pilot holes for screw driving.
The tool can drill wood up to 30 mm thick and metal up to 10 mm thick. A variable trigger speed will assist with user control along with an electric brake for added safety and precision.
Included with the tool are two 14.4 V slide batteries for long-term use.
