SDR-240 DIN rail power supplies

Tuesday, 03 February, 2009 | Supplied by: ADM Instrument Engineering Group

The SDR-240 is the first model in the Meanwell Slim DIN rail product series of DIN rail power supplies. The slim design of 63.5 mm in width saves space on the rail and makes it 42% smaller in size in comparison to its predecessor model.

Rated at 93.5% efficiency, the power supply can provide 240 W continuously or 360 W for 3 s up to 60°C by only free air convection. Standard functions include built-in active PFC function, ‘DC OK’ relay contact, on panel LED indicator and protection for short-circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature. The dimensions of the unit are 63 x 125 x 114 mm and it is available with a DC output of 24 V, 10 A and 48 V, 5 A.

The power supply is suitable for applications in factory automation, semiconductor fabrication equipment, marine-related installation and electromechanical applications with mid-power demand.
