The AVP Rapid Punch Terminal (RPT) system is a termination tool designed to make the installation of audio and video cables fast and simple.
The large-diameter barrel allows termination of 20-28 gauge, solid or stranded wire and can properly terminate 110 Ω digital audio cable.
The RPT terminal is certified for termination of different wire gauges, even on the same half of the terminal. It is also certified for 300 punch cycles using 22-26 gauge wire, facilitating easy and durable reconfiguration at any time.
The rigid mounting technique is claimed to provide high levels of wire retention and overall strength, with no terminal ‘push-through’.
