Life-Line Safety Cables are continuous bending high-flex cables, optimally adapted for energychain applications.

The cables have high loading capacity and continuous bending high-flex properties, enabling them to be flexibly guided in the dynamics and continuous stresses of cable-carrier systems - pushing/pulling on straight sections, compression of the inner cores and extension of the outer cores in the bends.

Position cables are suitable for applications in which material elasticity must be ensured, like millions-of-load cycles in an unsupported-chain application. Cables with bundle cabling have elaborate, multiple-stranded insides, where the wires are first stranded using a certain pitch and the resulting cores are in turn stranded into bundles. Together with the mechanical support provided by tension elements, such as centre cords and an outer jacket that provides the primary protection for the interior, the result is stable cabling for extreme bending stresses.

The cables are manufactured in PVC and PUR for a wide range of power, data and control applications, and incorporate an integrated colour-coding system, high-flex electrical shielding and valley-sealed extruded inner jackets.
