Clipsal by Schneider Electric OptiLine 50 Installation System

The Clipsal by Schneider Electric’s OptiLine 50 Installation System is a complete building fit-out cable management solution for electrical contractors with 25% fewer parts and time-saving installation features.

It features click-action installation and removable covers, as well as components such as click-in, click-out outlets and data points, floor boxes, poles and posts, trunking and furniture boxes. They are designed to work together to support an agile and fluid modern workspace.

The system consists of wiring devices based on 50 mm models that are snapped into the front opening of other components for click-in, click-out installation, as well as power outlets with white, dark grey or red fascias, two-module DIN enclosures, a junction box and a 30 mech keystone module. Also included are floor boxes, allowing power and data to be supplied from the floor, which are available in two sizes (eight and 12 module) and in a flush or recessed design with a stainless steel or gunmetal finish.

The furniture boxes have been designed to provide power and data access directly to the work desk. The pop-up, flip-up or flush-mounted boxes are suitable for office meeting rooms, where only occasional connection to power is needed. Trunking, made from halogen-free plastic, is also available, with a removable top for cable running and prepunched holes for feeding cables to outlets.
