Clipsal by Schneider Electric electrical product selector

The Clipsal by Schneider Electric Partner Business has launched an iPad app to help new home builders and renovators choose electrical products.

The Clipsal iSelect allows the user to take a photo of any room with an iPad, then pick and place Clipsal electrical accessory products in situ. Hundreds of Clipsal products are accessible and customers can print out a picture, create a list and provide it to their electrician for quoting.

The app follows on from the Clipspec specification program, where customers visit a consultant in a Clipsal Powerhouse display centre for a customised electrical and lighting plan.

The app is used pre-consultation to Clipspec, giving customers the opportunity to research products prior to an appointment. It also offers customers a base to discuss their needs directly with their electrical contractor.
