Belden Infinity C-TC+ and FCC Continuous Flex cables

Friday, 17 December, 2010 | Supplied by: Belden Australia Pty Ltd

Belden Infinity C-TC+ and FCC Continuous Flex cables have been enhanced with the addition of Belflex jackets to provide improved flexing; resistance to sunlight, oil and abrasion; and wider operational temperature ranges of -40 to +90°C (cold impact) and -50 to +90°C (cold bend).

The cables offer compliance with more industry ratings, including: 600 V TC-ER (18 AWG and larger), 300 V UL PLTC-ER (20 AWG), 1000 V WTTC (18 AWG and larger), UL MTW & AWM, and 1000 V CSA AWM I/II A/B FT4. They are also UL approved for direct burial, suitable for Class I & II Div 2 installation in hazardous locations and are CE and RoHS compliant.

The cables are suitable for extreme flexing applications in severe environments, such as C-track systems, automated assembly systems, material handling systems, multi-axis machine tools and wind turbines. Designed for optimal performance at 10 million flex cycles, torque has been eliminated and cable memory nearly eradicated, making the cable less susceptible to fatigue.

Infinity FCC cables are suitable for moderate flexing operations of 1 million flex cycles.

The Infinity Flex data cables are designed for the effective operation of computer-controlled equipment or other automated production processes. The 300V Flex Data twisted pair cables are built to withstand 1 million flex cycles.

Infinity 75-Ohm Flex Vision coaxial cables are designed for use in machine vision applications such as inspection and measurement devices, automated warehouse equipment, automated production processes, and motion control video. The cables are built to withstand 1 million flex cycles.
