Designed to mount on the bottom of the S200 range of ABB miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), the AC14 and DC13 auxiliary contacts are available as either a ‘1 NO’ or ‘1 NC’ contact configuration. Despite their small size, the switching contacts are full voltage rated at 2 A (AC14) at 230 VAC and 1 A (DC13) at 50 VDC.
The ability to fit the auxiliary contact on the bottom of the standard MCB means no additional space is required between the MCB and other devices when installing or retrofitting an auxiliary contact. No special tools are required for the installation or removal of the bottom fitting auxiliary contact.
The auxiliary contact can also be combined with other side mounting accessories such as other auxiliary and signalling contacts, shunt trips and undervoltage releases.
