Available to rent, the Anritsu MT9083B Access Master optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) reduces testing times to install and maintain FTTx, CATV, LAN, Access and Metro Networks. The device is able to test PONs with both high resolution and high dynamic range.
The device has been optimised for verifying single or closely spaced, cascaded PON splitters. Its included analysis software identifies problem splices, connectors and macrobends.
