HARTING has added a hood to the Han B product family. Due to the housing’s special geometric form it is possible to implement a cable entry from size M50 in size 16B, which exceeds the maximum previously offered by the product family. This allows a cable outlet either on the side or also at the top. The housing is locked with the Han-Easy Lock levers, and features easy handling and a low actuating force.
Another model of the hood with an M40 cable entry is also available for users. Due to its design, the product allows a large wiring space, which in turn ensures simplified, faster and consequently more economical installation for the user.
When used with a Han B bottom housing, IP65 protection is achieved. Combined with the standard contact inserts, the Han products cover the complete range of industrial requirements for professional connection technology.
