The Fujikura FSM60S splicer and CT30 cleaver are now available to rent.
Claimed to be the most compact and lightweight of its kind, the splicer is an arc calibration-free system with a dual directional operation system. It is used for splicing multi- and singlemode optical fibre.
The battery has a long life span for extended use. The CT30 fibre cleaver and detachable work table are supplied with the splicer.
Features include: fibre holder option; 4.1″ TFT colour LCD monitor; core to core alignment by profile alignment system (PAS) technology; splice protection heater.
