Available through ERNTEC, the FAULHABER 2668 ... CR DC motor is a copper‐graphite commutated DC‐micromotor offering more power in the hand than comparable drives. This is due to a bigger NdFeB magnet and a high copper content in the winding, which supplies a rated torque of 70 mNm.
The product is suited to professional high‐performance handheld tools such as motorised screwdrivers or other applications in special machinery construction, metering systems and automation solutions. It is lightweight at 189 g and has a diameter of 26 mm, meaning it reaches full power quickly with a high-pulse torque.
The copper‐graphite brushes of the motor are characterised by good stability and low wear. The housing is made of coated steel, while the motor can be combined with high‐resolution optical or magnetic encoders.
