Marechal self-ejecting Ex de Decontactor systems
Marechal’s self-ejecting Ex de Decontactor systems, with DXN series decontactors, are designed for use in hazardous environments. These systems prevent possibly damaging premature or otherwise incorrect disconnection of the electric circuit in hazardous environments, when a vehicle or other mobile equipment is moved before the electrical supply is properly disconnected.
They are certified according to IEC Ex de for use in Zones 1 and 2 (Gas) and Zones 21 and 22 (Dust), and comply with ATEX directive 94/9/CE.
Applications include hazardous areas where flammable gases, vapours or dust are likely to be present in the environment in industries such as petrochemicals, gas, chemicals, food and pharmaceuticals.
