LAPP SKINTOP cable gland range

The LAPP SKINTOP range of cable glands provides secure cable entry, strain relief and sealing across a wide variety of industrial and electrical applications. For applications requiring electromagnetic compatibility, the SKINTOP MS-M BRUSH cable gland is designed to provide effective 360° contact with the cable screen. Its integrated brush design makes contact with the cable braid, helping to provide a low-resistance path to earth and maintain EMC performance at the termination point.
This is particularly important in variable speed drive (VSD) installations, where high-frequency electrical noise generated by the drive can interfere with nearby control, communication and instrumentation systems. Correct termination of the cable screen helps minimise electromagnetic interference and supports reliable system operation.
