The APC Smart-UPS On-Line lithium-ion 1000 and 1500 VA 230 V UPS has lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries. The 1000 and 1500 VA rack/tower UPSs offer all the features that users depend on and expect from Smart-UPS On-Line solutions.

This includes true double-conversion on-line power protection, pure sine wave output, high efficiency, extended run capability with external Li-Ion battery packs, flash-upgradable firmware, remote management options and much more. The advantages of the Li-ion battery are said to include greater tolerance of ambient temperatures, greater performance at these higher temperatures, longer battery life and lighter weight.
