SPARC Design 2016 registrations open
It’s that time of year again. SPARC Design, the annual lighting conference for lighting designers and other industry professionals, is a feature event of Vivid Sydney. Vivid began as an outdoor lighting festival but has expanded in recent years to incorporate light, music and ideas through a series of talks and is now billed as a place ‘where art, technology and commerce intersect’.
SPARC Design 2016 is organised by the Lighting Council of Australia and the two-day program, running on Tuesday 31 May and Wednesday 1 June, features international keynote speakers providing the latest information on trends and challenges for the design industry. Registrations open at 5.30 pm each day and delegates will have a chance to take in Vivid, as the event is being held in the thick of it at Customs House in Circular Quay.
Vivid Sydney runs from 27 May till 18 June.
