OzRoll launches 100 kW commercial solar system
OzRoll Industries has officially launched its 100 kW commercial solar system and demonstration site, which was developed in partnership with Schneider Electric.
Schneider Electric has been working with OzRoll Industries to provide a commercial solar solution which can be replicated for other businesses. The installation includes 608 Solapowa monocrystalline PV panels from OzRoll and five Schneider Electric Conext TL three-phase grid-tie inverters.
The installation site will be used in the future for education and training exercises and supports both companies’ ongoing commitment to educating customers across Australia about energy efficiency.

The system is expected to produce around 133 MWh of electricity each year, reducing energy costs by around $24,000 each year and preventing more than 120 tonnes of carbon dioxide greenhouse gas emissions.
“OzRoll Industries chose to partner with Schneider Electric for our 100 kW rooftop project, not only because of Schneider Electric’s quality design and integrity of the Conext range of inverters, but because it provided us with the opportunity to further build and develop on our excellent working relationship,” OzRoll Industries CEO Chris Parkinson said.
Tom Kenyon, South Australian Minister for Manufacturing, Innovation and Trade, attended the official launch on 28 August.
