A comprehensive fire safety solution

Australian-based fire and security supplier PSA Products proudly presents its coveted LIFESAVER range, a comprehensive smoke alarm solution that’s been specially designed to save lives. The LIFESAVER range encompasses a range of unique products for specific home and business needs. Much more than an everyday smoke alarm, the LIFESAVER range offers a complete fire safety solution for your home and office.

All LIFESAVER products are durable, effective, and comply with relevant Australian Standards. The product range is designed in conjunction with users and installers to ensure the best features, quality and reliability is achieved. To suit just about every installation project and situation, the LIFESAVER range is able to provide a total fire safety solution. The range has the ability to interconnect with other LIFESAVER products through a wired and wireless network to create a comprehensive smoke alarm system. The PSA LIFESAVER extensive range includes battery-operated and mains-powered smoke alarms, heat alarm, testers and ancillary devices.

The premium models feature a 10-year non-replaceable battery (LIFPE10, LIF10YPEW) or are mains powered with rechargeable backup batteries (LIF5800RL/2). These premium devices afford the convenience of never having to change a battery during the lifetime of the alarm. And considering three out of five house fire deaths occur in homes with faulty smoke alarms (often due to a flat battery), this convenience could well save someone’s life. Nevertheless, the LIFESAVER range also features a number of cost-effective replaceable battery-powered smoke alarms as well ( LIFPE9M, LIF707R).

Some of the LIFESAVER range (LIF10YPEW, LIF5800RL/2, and LIF5800/2) connects up to 24 units through a localised network. This functionality allows the entire system to sound should one unit detect a fire, thus alerting a large facility to a potential hazard and providing precious extra time for the occupants to evacuate. These systems include a ‘first to alarm’ feature, which allows administrators or the fire department to ascertain the source of the fire.

Business and public building owners who must comply with strict anti-smoking legislation can use the LIF707R tobacco alarm in addition to their general smoke-detection system.

Regardless of which you choose, every model uses advanced photoelectric sensor technology, complies with the latest Australian Standard AS3786:2014 and is ActivFire listed.

Take the time to browse through the LIFESAVER products below to pick out the best system for you.
