The Italian-manufactured Techome range of wireless home automation products are supplied in kit form comprising a number of units with transmitters and receivers pre-programmed and suitable for specific automation applications and situations.
There are five kits currently available - the basic kit containing a handheld transmitter and relay output receiver, up to a kit with a wall-mounted switch with a receiver that has dimmer control for lighting circuits up to 500 W. There is also a receiver suitable for outdoor mounting with four relay outputs.
Transmitters and receivers are available as separate components for installation projects that cannot be met by the prepacked kits, or need to be custom configured.
With recommended operating distances of up to 100 m, and using 916 MHz frequency range, these products are suitable for domestic and commercial applications where it is impractical to run switch wires.
