Ruckus Wireless MediaFlex 7000 Series Smart Wi-Fi system

The Ruckus Wireless MediaFlex 7000 Series Smart Wi-Fi system can be used with the Telstra T-Box set-top boxes to connect them beyond the reach of an ethernet connection or normal Wi-Fi connectivity.

Based on high-speed 802.11n 5 GHz technology, the system is an in-home Wi-Fi system specifically designed for long-range transmission of IP-based video. It integrates smart antenna technology that focuses Wi-Fi signals only where needed, while constantly steering transmissions over the highest-performing signal paths, reducing packet loss that results in pixilation of content on TVs.

The pre-configured bundle includes a 5 GHz 802.11n access point and 5 GHz wireless adapter. The AP attaches to the home gateway via ethernet and the adapter plugs into an ethernet port on the set-top box. No configuration or cabling is required, allowing users to place set-top boxes and televisions virtually anywhere in the home.
