The electronic colour sensor from ifm efector detects the colour, packaging, label or imprint of objects at a high resolution.In industrial processes with a high degree of automation, colour is often a selection criterion for the recognition, sorting or checking of different goods.

The colour of the products themselves, as well as of packaging, labels or imprints, can be precisely detected using electronic colour sensors. A high switching frequency of 2000 Hz allows the sensor the reliable detection of different objects in industrial processes.

The unit is set for the colour to be detected with one push of the button. With five selectable tolerances, even the slightest differences in colour shades as compared to the background or other objects can be distinguished.
