IE industrial ethernet RJ-45 connectors

The fully shielded IE line of industrial ethernet RJ-45 connectors with Steadytec technology is category 6 capable, compact and require no tools for termination and assembly in the field.

The connectors are claimed to be gigabit-capable for ethernet - variant 1, 4 and 5 in IEC 61076-3-106.

This platform-oriented concept offers IP67-rated solutions for both copper and fibre-optic connectors. The fibre-optic connectors are equipped with rapid termination technology and can be used for plastic optical fibre (POF), plastic cladded fibre (PCF) and glass optical fibre (GOF) with core diameters of 50 µm and 62.5 µm. IP67 protection is provided through housings fitted with an axial rectangular seal and overlapping cable gland that securely guards against dirt deposits in the locking mechanism.

The connectors feature a choice of insert combinations to produce many connector variants, and robust plastic and die-cast zinc housings contact technology with more than 750 guaranteed mating cycles in accordance with IEC 60603-7.
