The DDMC802GL is a multipurpose controller designed for home automation and hotel suite control applications.
The DIN rail-mountable controller features a hardware configurable design, where plug-in cards accommodate specific loads assigned to the system. This ability to tailor it to the project optimises energy management.
Using load-specific modules, whether for luminaire dimming or automation of blinds, curtains or fans, enables a significant reduction in the waste caused by unused channels in conventional control approaches.
The controller can control trailing- or leading-edge phase control dimmers, HF ballast control (individually programmable DALI, 1-10 V and DSI), relay control, fan and curtain control.
Featuring eight channels with a 2 A nominal load per channel, the controller can accept up to four dual-channel or two quad-channel plug-in modules/cards for different loads.
Other features include eight programmable dry contact inputs for hardwiring components to the controller (eg, security system override), optional clock module and local override control that allows on/off control of each individual channel in the unlikely event of network failure.
