Control Devices Australia AVP SuperHD+ 3.0 GHz video patch field
The AVP SuperHD+ Series 3.0 GHz video patch fields are available in standard or midsize configurations.
The standard-size video jacks are claimed to exceed HDTV SMPTE 424M-2006 specifications while the midsize video jacks exceed SMPTE 292M 1998 specifications. The jacks feature gold-plated, copper alloy centre, switching and ground contacts that provide low insertion and return loss characteristics, with a life cycle of over 30,000 insertions.
Available in 1, 1.5 and 2 RU sizes, the patch fields can be configured for 32 or 34 fields for midsize jacks and 24, 26 or 28 fields for standard-size jacks. The patch fields can be optioned with CIS colour coding of every circuit.
The jacks are available in ‘terminating normalled’, ‘non-terminating normalled’, ‘terminating non-normalled’ and ‘non-terminating non-normalled’ configurations. The jacks use front-mounting screws with rear-mounted captive nuts located under the designation strip, allowing the patch field to be rearranged or repaired quickly.
