The RXT-4500 OSA module from VeEX is an optical spectrum/channel analyser for CWDM and DWDM networks.
Using micro-optic design and MEMS tuning technology, the module measures key optical parameters such as wavelength, channel power and OSNR.
It has a touch screen for simple zooming and navigation with more than 8 h battery operating time and low temperature sensitivity. Its universal optical interface comes with industry-standard adaptors.
Other key features include: S, C and C+L band wavelength ranges with a built-in wavelength reference and accuracy of ± 50 pm; fast continuous scanning - full spectrum in less than 7 s; simultaneous measurements of up to 160 channels including channel power measurement and channel threshold detection; DWDM channel spacing down to 50 GHz with DWDM channel monitoring per ITU G.694.1 grid for 50/100/200 GHz spacing; CWDM optical channel monitoring per ITU G.694.2 grid; in-band OSNR measurement greater than 35 dB; and a low polarisation dependent loss (PDL) of less than 0.3 dB.
The device supports 10/40/100 Gbps transmission modulation types and has DFB laser qualification.
