Spirent Abacus version 6.20 enables NEMS address DoD AS-SIP requirements with Mutual TLS Authentication for SIP. AS-SIP is mandatory VoIP standard requirement for DoD communication network. Mutual TLS Authentication for SIP (AS-SIP Security) allows Abacus SIP UEs to be authenticated by the server.
In v6.00 and v6.10 Spirent Abacus introduced the configurable SIP feature to support SIP Supplementary Feature Testing per RFC 5359 (Phase 1). In v6.20 the SIP Supplementary Feature Testing (Phase 3) is further enhanced to support other supplementary features such as Send Subscribe, Send Notify and others.
The release features Mutual TLS Authentication for SIP (AS-SIP Security) and SIP Supplementary Feature Testing (Phase 3). Abacus v6.20 also addresses numerable CRs.
