Harsh-duty magnetic encoders

The Sendix single-turn magnetic absolute encoders with 12-bit analog and 14-bit CANopen outputs are designed for applications requiring rugged, high-resolution encoders.

Die-cast housings, resistance to humidity and condensation, IP69K protection rating and high resistance to shock (rated to 500 g) and vibration (rated to 30 g) make them suitable for outdoor use.

The encoders are assembled using ‘safety-lockplus’ technology utilising interlocking bearings on the flange and a mechanically protected shaft seal to protect the encoder from external debris during installation.

These non-contact devices feature an operating range of -40 to 85°C, an LED to help ease installation and simplify diagnostics, as well as an integral cable or M12 connector. Being only 36 mm in diameter, they may also be applied in space-restrictive locations.
