Toyota Material Handling Bravi elevated work platforms

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) has broadened its material handling product range with new elevated work platforms (EWPs). Manufactured in Italy by Bravi Platforms, this is the first non-Toyota product to be offered by the company. TMHA is the sole Australian importer and will provide full support, including maintenance contracts.

TMHA is distributing all six models including the Sprint, with a 90 kg material load capacity and maximum platform height of 3350 mm; the Leonardo HD, with 180 kg platform capacity and platform height of 2900 mm; and the Lui 460, featuring a 280 kg platform capacity and maximum platform height of 4620 mm.

The Sprint is suitable for commercial maintenance and building management operations for tasks including window cleaning, ceiling repairs and replacing light globes. It features a single mast operated via an integral hydraulic cylinder, removing the need for chains and linkages. It has fewer moving parts, so there is no need for regular lubrication and maintenance. The Sprint’s load platform can be raised or lowered by the operator via an electric motor.

A number of other changes have been made to the standard specification in order suit the Australian market. These include a safety feature that cuts the hydraulic lifting system if the interlocking gate is not closed correctly, operator platform service lock and a recess added to the cover to enable it to be used for storage.

Other features include a high-capacity, maintenance-free battery that can provide up to 30 km travel with a single charge and six-monthly service intervals.
