App keeps qualifications up to date

Tuesday, 19 January, 2016

Sydney-based start-up TradePapers has launched an Android and iOS application for sharing and reminding users to keep trade qualifications up to date.

The app is the first of its kind combining both a document sharing platform and a reminder system that lets users and their employers know when tickets are coming up for renewal. It removes the need for carrying paper photocopies of tickets to provide proof of licensing and qualifications and also saves employers by not having to retrain staff that are already qualified.

It is downloadable from both the Apple and GooglePlay stores with provision for storing up to 10 documents and additional reminders. A premium version is also in the works, which will allow users to upload documents and images directly from a PC to the app.
