Brightgreen has released the D900 v1.5 downlight, which the company claims has the LED with the highest CRI (95) on the market.
CRI, or colour rendering index, rates a light source from 1-100 based on how well it illuminates colours. Brightgreen claims the enhanced D900 Curve and Cube surpass the brightness of a premium 50 W halogen to make interiors look brighter while reducing electricity bills. The operating power of the Curve is 15.7 W. The fittings feature 70,000 lifespan and built-in thermal monitoring.
