Schneider Electric strengthens renewable energy business in Australia
Schneider Electric has identified the renewable energy market as a key growth opportunity and will increase its business focus in the Australian commercial, residential and solar farm markets.
The company’s increased focus in Australia is part of a broader global strategy to strengthen expertise in the renewable energy market, especially solar.
“As energy demand and consumption of electricity continues to grow, it’s important to meet this demand without increasing the carbon footprint,” said David Gardner, Vice President Power Business, Schneider Electric. The company aims to use its global experience to increase its offering across Australia.”
As part of the expansion, Schneider Electric and Clipsal by Schneider Electric will launch the latest additions to its commercial and residential solar range at the Clean Energy Week Conference in Sydney between 25 and 27 July.
“We have strengthened our capabilities to best service renewable energy needs by introducing a new line of solar solutions to expand our current range,” said Stace Tzamtzidis, General Manager Energy Efficiency, Clipsal by Schneider Electric. “As energy costs continue to rise, there are incentives for both businesses and consumers to make savings, and benefit from the advantages solar solutions offer.”
