Tyco Electronics solutions are made to comply with strict RoHS requirements. RoHS is a global program which restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

These regulations ban the use of any electrical and electronic equipment containing more than the specified levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.
