Wireless sensing solution

The Banner Engineering DX70 SureCross is a wireless sensing solution for secure communications in remote or hard-to-reach locations in industrial applications, such as remote I/O data acquisition and energy monitoring.

The system offers two-way communications that is claimed to be easily installed and simple to implement in plant environments where conduit and wiring are impractical.

A node on the network can be deployed to gather information that is concentrated at a DX70 Gateway system controller, which can be located up to 5 km away.

The units are self-contained in IP67-rated enclosures for deployment in challenging environments and are available in 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz versions to meet global communications standards.

The system features digital and analog I/O in a single unit and ‘binding’ technology for enhanced security and reliable communications, minimising the effects of possible noise or interference caused by other wireless products.
