The IM154-6 PN HF IWLAN module is a ProfiNet-ready wireless interface module that enables the IP65/67 rated ET200pro distributed I/O system to communicate via industrial wireless LAN.
The module can be operated on an IWLAN access point in a 2.4 or 5 GHz IWLAN radio network with maximum data rates of up to 54 Mbps.
It enables the ET 200pro system to be employed for applications where a wired solution could only be implemented at high cost due to wear and tear, separation and inaccessibility.
Typical applications include warehouse logistics, electrical trolley conveyors and building management.
The module consists of an IWLAN radio card compatible with IEEE 802.11a/h/b/g and IEEE 802.11e/i and a connection unit.
Two antennas can be used to optimise data transmission security, which can be directly or separately mounted. They are then connected to the interface module via R-SMA screwed connection.
