Wi-Fi enclosures

The BWIE-100 (indoor) and BWOE-100 (outdoor) Wi-Fi enclosures are designed to provide secure accommodation for the remote placement of the Belden XtraThin wireless access points (APs).

The compact enclosures are robustly constructed to comply with the physical or climate-related requirements of indoor or outdoor AP installations such as tampering, theft and environmental damage in remote locations, outdoor areas, or where they may be exposed to physical damage.

The indoor enclosure is constructed from UV-stabilised ABS and is 350 x 250 x 100 mm. The IP42-rated enclosure can be use in areas where APs are susceptible to physical damage and where space is limited, such as in equipment closets, offices and mobile wireless applications.

The outdoor enclosure is constructed from moulded fibreglass reinforced polyester with stainless steel quick-release latches and hardware, making it suitable for outdoor use, as well as in demanding high-temperature or corrosive environments.

The enclosure is 350 x 300 x 175 mm, IP42 rated and includes a category 5e power-over-ethernet interface.
