Video surveillance data enclosure

Tuesday, 03 February, 2009 | Supplied by: Rittal Pty Ltd

The Rittal security box enclosure is a tamper-proof security enclosure aimed at helping organisations protect their video surveillance equipment from unauthorised access.

The enclosure incorporates a lock system differentiated from the usual IT rack locks, ensuring that the video-PC is only accessible by authorised employees.

In addition, the front cover, rear and top sides are passively ventilated to deal with thermal power losses, while additional active ventilation components can be installed as an option.

The enclosure is available in a height of 5U and a depth of 600 mm and can be screwed onto the front and rear of the 19" mounting rails. The front cover is designed to ensure that the screws then become inaccessible once closed.
