Vertical cable management

Saturday, 01 November, 2008 | Supplied by: Molex Premise Networks Pty Ltd

The Vertical Cable Rack Manager is used in conjunction with the Molex 19" Open Bay Rack to provide a robust and efficient way of managing cables and patch cords, especially in high-density applications, such as data centres or server rooms.

The product retains the ability to access and manage cables efficiently, while giving the necessary support for bundled patch cords moving from panels to the frame and maintaining bend radiuses at all times.

Rapid cable re-routing can be achieved via the ‘Quick Fit’ cable spools, while ‘Quick Snap’ finger grooves allow flexible equipment management, and facilitate expansion from 1U to whatever size is required.

The product is available in 200 and 300 mm versions and designed for single-handed operation. The door has left- or right-hand opening and enables easy access to cables. Additionally, the integral quick lock spools and horizontal cable retainers allow for easy fitment and removal.
