Patching accessories

Rittal has expanded its range of high-density patching accessories with two cable ducts for 1000 and 2000 mm high enclosures, along with cable-shunting elements, which can handle excess lengths of cable and be applied as radius reducers when redirecting cables.

The devices help accommodate large volumes of cable within the network distribution system and can reduce the amount of space used for cabling in data centres.

Cables are guided through cable ducts for each height unit on the side of the distribution level. Users can work on any particular level without any additional elements due to the height-unit-related cable routing to the network switches or distributor.

This approach allows the number of connection points to be increased to a maximum of 1008 ports per rack, lowering the total investment required.

The patching solutions can be attached to mounting angles, to 48 cm mounting frames and on the side of the IT rack framework. Back-to-back mounting is also possible.

A continuous system of punchings within the cable duct allows for the assembly of additional cable management elements later.
