The FiberExpress Secure/Keyed LC system is a family of specially keyed and colour-coded optical fibre connectivity components that have been designed to meet today’s stringent network security requirements. This system allows for the physical segregation of various network segments in an infrastructure.

The product is a small form factor (SFF) connection system that exceeds all industry standards for optical performance and complies with the FOCIS 10 standard. It has 12 physically discrete, colour-coded keying options, tamper-resistant key design and a high-quality ceramic ferrule for increased durability.

The system contains high-density SFF connectors with removable clip (allowing for polarity reversal) and is available in multimode 62.5 µm, 50 µm and 50 µm laser-optimised — ready for high-performance networks

The system is offered in Keyx-Keyx and hybrid configurations (Keyx-LC and Keyx-SC), for easy network interfacing. LC simplex 900 µm pigtails are available for fusion splicing.
