Optical fibre media converters
The Optimal Cable Services 200 series media converters are designed to extend the physical range of 10/100 Mbps ethernet networks utilising fibre optics.
With no switches to worry about, the media converter automatically selects 10/100 Mbps operation and auto senses full- and half-duplex communications.
Indicator LEDs provide diagnostics including link loss, data and transmission.
With SC optical fibre ports and RJ-45 ethernet ports, the media converter is available as a standalone unit or can be supplied as a 2U rack system.
