The Quad LC optical-fibre adapters are designed for high-density optical-fibre interconnection applications, providing four LC ports in the one adapter. Connection options for each adapter include either four simplex LC connectors, two simplex and one duplex LC connectors or two duplex LC connectors.
The adapter is suitable for use in Molex fibre management panels, adapter plates and pre-terminated ‘ModLink’ solution.
The adapters are available in snap and flange-mount options and support singlemode and multimode applications, including OM3 fibre specifications, making them suitable for 10 Gbps applications.
The mounting dimensions of the adapter are identical to the duplex SC adapter, making it a direct drop-in replacement to existing SC systems. Each adapter can also be supplied with individual shutters providing the user with protection against harmful light emissions.
