Optical fibre data transmission course
The CMT-08-070 SDH Operations & Maintenance training course is designed to provide an introduction to the operational fundamentals of SDH and PCM data transmission over optical media technologies.
Constructed to be suitable for all skill levels, the course focuses on metro and long-range SDH deployments and how they relate to xWDM transmission systems. It covers SDH fundamentals up to 40 Gbps. The new generation of SDH systems that are deployed for packet-based technologies, like ethernet, will also be covered.
The course includes hands-on experience with operational, maintenance and troubleshooting methodologies to ensure system validation and performance guarantees can be evaluated.
