CCTV video analysis software

Thursday, 15 October, 2009 | Supplied by: Bosch Security Systems Pty Ltd

The Intelligent Video Analysis IVA 4.0 software for CCTV security and surveillance systems provides an interactive set-up tool that enables an average installer to calibrate a camera in about two minutes, while reporting how accurately the camera is calibrated. Accurately calibrated cameras are more likely to be able to predict size and speed of objects to help filter out unwanted events and minimise false alarms.

A filter detects human head and shoulder contours to classify people in a scene and further reduce false alarms, while a built-in direction-detection motion algorithm enhances intelligent video analysis.

The software is included in the latest firmware 4.0 release and can be licensed for Bosch IP fixed and AutoDome cameras and video encoders. Licensed users of earlier versions of Intelligent Video Analysis software will automatically be upgraded free of charge on upgrading their firmware to the 4.0 version.
