The Bosch recording station is a management system for up to 32 IP video sources. Live viewing and recording is supported at any resolution up to 2048 x 1536 pixels (3 megapixel), including HD widescreen. It manages H.264 and MPEG-4 video from Bosch and third-party IP video sources compatible with Axis MPEG-4 and MJPEG via hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP)/trivial file transfer protocol (TFTP) compression standards.
The recording station interfaces with security and building management systems such as intrusion, fire and access solutions and alarm panels from the company. It also supports connection to external systems including: ATM and point-of-sale terminals, fire alarm systems, licence-plate capture equipment and video content analysis solutions. For even tighter integration, the company’s VideoSDK software development kit provides modules for playback, searching, viewing and more. Live and recorded video can be recovered from anywhere in the network.
Whether on site or at a remote network location, operators have quick and convenient access to all information, making the station suitable for distributed network surveillance. The scalable, intuitive graphical user interface allows live and recorded images from multiple remote stations to be viewed from a single PC (receiver station).
The recording station is suitable for a wide range of applications including banks, large retail units, bus and railway stations, city centres, industrial facilities and office buildings.
