Bosch Dinion HD 720p day/night IP cameras

The Dinion HD 720p day/night IP cameras are equipped with a 1/3″ HD CCD with progressive scan. Pixel-by-pixel image processing generates the most detailed images, making it easier for operators to distinguish small features, and images are reproduced in widescreen format.

The camera’s digital video processing helps provide good image and colour performance even under challenging lighting conditions. Smart BLC automatically compensates for backlighting, while SensUp Dynamic enhances sensitivity in low light.

iSCSI storage is supported and video storage costs minimised with the H.264 compression implementation, which is claimed to save up to 50% storage compared to MPEG-4. Tri-streaming is supported, allowing one 720p H.264 stream for live viewing and recording, one lower resolution H.264 stream for constrained-bandwidth networks and a JPEG video stream for easy integration with third-party video management systems.

Standard video content analysis features are included, such as the built-in Motion+ video motion analysis system. Also, hardware-enhanced versions of the Dinion HD camera enable more advanced intelligent video analysis functionality using multilevel image analysis of pixels, texture and object direction.

Fully ONVIF conformant, the camera integrates with third-party security solutions, and software also allows it to be combined with standard definition appliances in the same system.
